Steven Thomas Warren Jehs (Uncle Steve) Memorium

Steven Thomas Warren Jehs, 28, resident of Sebastian, Florida and formerly of Lisle, Illinois, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 31, 2011. He was born on May 23, 1983, was raised in Naperville, Illinois and attended Naperville North High School.

Steven is survived by his loving mother, Mary Jehs of Lisle, Illinois; his brother Matthew and his wife Kimberly Jehs of Sebastian, Florida and brother Gregory and his wife Jill Jehs of Woodridge, Illinois. Most dear to Steve were his nephews Fischer, Easton and Wesley and his many friends who were as close as family from both Illinois and Florida. He was preceded in death by his father, Warren Wesley Jehs.

Steve loved fishing, diving, and boating and was able to embrace these passions as a marine surveyor. It was often said by those who knew him that there was no more likable guy than our Steve. We will all miss him greatly.

Steve's desire to keep the beaches and ocean he loved pristine for his nephews to enjoy while growing up was very important to Steve. The ocean was a lifelong love and he was never happier than out on the boat or in the water. The Marine Cleanup Initiative Inc expresses the same conservation goals that he had. His family would be honored for donations made to this cause in his name.
